Cheat Meals?

Hi guys,

I was just wondering what everyone does for cheat meals. If you have them, how many times a week and what do you eat for them? Also, if you don't have them, do you find it's hard to stick to healthier eating? I'm really torn right now. Thanks.

I don't do cheat meals as I fit anything I feel like having into my daily goals. I still have pizza, Arby's or whatever. I just work the rest of my day around it. I eat healthier in general for sure, but since I'll be eating things like that in the future, what's the point of cutting it out temporarily.

    I don't have cheat meals - I feel like that's counterproductive.

That doesn't mean I've given up things that I love that aren't that great for me - instead I just fit it in. If I have a daily caloric budget, I'll find a way to fit it in if I want it badly enough!

I also just fit in whatever I want to eat and don't do cheat meals or days. No reason to when I can just eat what I want in moderation on any other day.
  • Like an Alcoholic on the wagon, I have abused food my whole life so I don't believe in the philosophy of "one won't hurt you", it is that thinking that has gotten me so out of shape.

Nothing is off limits to me, I just stay within my calorie counts. I might "cheat" (that is, just go over my target) if it's a special occasion, like a party or anniversary or something. In that case, that's like... once every few weeks. If you're constantly cheating, then you're undoing all the work you did the rest of the week, so what's the point?
