This is prettty cool a diabetic 6.8 in March when I started!

    That's fantastic! It takes dedication, but we can get this under control. I'm also diabetic, and my last A1c was also 5.6. Doc is keeping me on my meds (Metformin) though. Congrats.

    Congrats!!! Also diabetic and have been without insurance for nearly 3 yrs. My sister and I have been following the South Beach diet and I have my blood sugar contolled. I go to the doctor this month on medicare and I'm hoping she is able to keep me off the meds.
