So aggitated today

I have been on this "gonna lose" kick since July. In July I went into the DR and was 167. I was having health issues that we ended up finding out was h pylori infection and possible hypothyroidism as well as real low vitamin D level blah blah.
So, I started vit d, I started synthroid in September and then got the infection treated, I am finally feeling good. However today I am UP 5lbs to 172....
At home in the morning, I weigh in here at 167. I come home and weigh in at 172(dressed) so idk what to think or do.
I wasn't watching numbers very closely until this past week, now I am. I am at a 1300 calorie intake, I am working out daily, I am active while working 8 hours a day. I am now drinking 7-12 cups of water a day...so on and so forth.
They now want to send me to an Endocrinologist to find out what's going on with my thyroid because my levels are tricky.
UGH

Even without the other health issues, you have to give your body time to adjust to changes. When I started MFP, I promptly gained 2 pounds (I think from constipation). I recommend that you put away the scales for at least two weeks and focus on getting your medications and food intake right.
Good luck!0 -

^^^^^Agree. Plus we always weigh more in the evening (and with clothes on) than we do first thing in the morning (and naked). Good luck in getting it all straightened out.0 -

I agree - start with doing what the doc says and tracking your daily food intake (make sure you are eating enough, 1300 seems low for most people). Maybe have your doc test for your BMR and then you can calculate your TDEE and eat at a deficit from there.0 -
Pick one scale and stick with it....obsessing over two scales is too much!!!!0

I figured out the BMR & TDEE and I am eating at the correct deficit, but I have honestly only been doing it religiously for about 1 week, I shouldn't complain I know.
Thank You all for the suggestions.0
