I get migraines and I used to have this friend that pushed on a pressure point in my hand that would make my headache just go away, better than any exedrin!! Oh how I miss that friend.0

Oh geez. I used to have headaches litterally every single day. I haven't found anything that makes my headaches go away of course my doctor gave me pills for my migraines but I don't like taking pills. The only thing I found that semi relieves is drinking tea and sleep. Oh and silence. Lol hope your head goes ache free soon!!0

i learned in school, pressure points on opposite side of the headache area.. ex: if you have a headache in your forhead area pressure points on the back of ur head?! temp release. feels good for a little... other than that theres not much..
my friend is so addicted to coffee that if she doesnt have her coffee she gets a bad headache. maybe you need caffiene?!0 -
Nothing helps a true migraine but a dark, cold, quiet room and sleep. But, if you like tea, chamomile always calms me and helps reduce it... it just doesnt completely alleviate the headache.0

The doctor gave me migraine meds but I left them at home today. I don't think it's a migraine either since I'm not vomiting yet. I think it's just a regular headache. However, most of my headaches are from dehydration. So I've drank quite a bit of water this morning but its not easing off. Now I'm just not sure what to do.0

Pressure points. Massage temples... the soft spot on the crown of your skull follow your ears straight up and there's a shallow spot about the size of a finger type... also one inch to either side of this as well. Place heel of hand on one side of neck just under the skull base with finger tips pressed on the other side just on the edges of the bone tissue, massage.
If it is a sinus headache than there's a notch in the eye well on the top side just near the bridge of the nose apply pressure. Place index finger tip and middle finger tip side by side next to the nose on the edge of the cheek bone and press upward onto the edge of the cheek bone.
If these work right you'll know it within moments the headache well be released if its a sinus issue you sinuses will drain properly if you apply the sinus pressure points.
Also there's one on the arch of the foot and in the meaty part of the hand between index and thumb for headaches.0 -

Depends on the type of headache. I use multiple things b/c I get migraines.
Neck stretching exercises (relieves stress in the neck & shoulders that can cause stress headaches)
I have a neck bag that I can put in the microwave for about 4 minutes to heat and put on my neck/shoulders (it has flax seed in it so you heat 1 minute at a time and shake)
I have another bag that I keep in the freezer and put across my forehead and temples (it's awesome)
Getting a neck and head massage can actually take you from bad migraine to relief in 50 minutes
I take the following daily: 400 mg B2 and 600 mg Magnesium; I'm also supposed to be taking Butterbur (an herb) but its hard to find, so I gave up on that one.
Migraines (if its a migraine) can be triggered by certain foods (dairy, alcohol, red meat), it can be triggered by lack of food, lack of sleep, too much sleep, PMS and change in the barometric pressure
Gluten and Dairy are known contributors/causers of PMS so eliminating or reducing can have reduce migraine frequency (again that's if you get migraine)0 -
For me it depends on the type of headache. different types hurt in different places and have overall dissimilar 'feelings'. My most common types are dehydration, sleep deprivation, and stress. My stress headaches start in back and neck and wrap around my skull. this one is most alleviated by stretching out my back and getting rid the knots. Sleep deprivation and dehyration are both helped by liquids (with or without caffiene) and sleep. Sometimes even a quick 10 minutes of closing my eyes and deep breathing can help. If you don't want to caught sleeping at work, go to your car, lean the seat back and relax there.0

Drink lots of water. Put an ice pack on your neck and massage your temples. It may look funny, but it feels so nice!0

Fresh cherries about 10 to 12 of them. It has the same effect as aspirin. However a large majority of headaches are caused by dehydration so drinking plenty of water might help as well.0

I like to keep my head warm by wearing a hat. Seems to help me.0

Anyone have a headache cure that does not involve pills?
Honestly, since I've lost weight and got into great shape, I rarely get headaches anymore.0 -

Depends on the type of headache. For dehydration, water obviously. If I'm really dehydrated I'll drink a sports drink and that usually kicks it.
My daughter's migraines went away after we discovered she's gluten intolerant and went gluten free. No gluten = no headaches for her.
Peppermint oil dabbed on the temples is very helpful for me at times. It's some sort of aroma therapy that makes my headaches recede.
Exercise can help some headaches but others it just makes worse. Ice or heat packs are also helpful you just have to decide which type of headache feels better which which pack. For me, tension headaches need the warmth but most other headaches feel better with an ice pack. If I get a migraine I hide in a dark room with a bag of frozen peas on my head.0
