Running pain advice please :-)))

When running, maybe about 1 mile in, ive started to get a pain in the lower stomach area kind of in line with my hips and its a stabbing kind of pain! Its kind of putting me off doing anything over 5k at the minute cause its quite painful... any thoughts on this or am i just a random oddball :-)))

A side stitch?

Definitely sounds like a stitch to me! Cut down on eating and drinking an hour before or during your run, go a bit slower until it passes and breathe out hard when the foot opposite the pain hits the ground.0

I'm not sure exactly what the location is of your pain, but I was getting sharp pains for a short while in my hip flexor when I ran (i think that's what it's called, the spot at the top of my thigh where it attaches to my hip, slightly inward towards my abdomen). I started stretching a bit more after my runs and it seemed to take care of it.0
