How many calories are too few?

So I have some random digestion and stomach issues that make me not have much of an appetite or be able to eat regular sized meals. So I end up eating about 6 small meals a day. I heard that lowest calloric intake for women is 1200 and for men should be right around 1800? Well I'm lucky if I hit above 1500. Is this a problem or has anyone heard anything different? Thanks!

everybody is different. as long as you make your meals count like make them nutrient dense then i think you will be fine. If you feel fine then you are if you feel tired and cant concentrate then that is indicative of you not getting enough nutrients/calories.

I do feel tired all the time, problem is that's also a side effect of my medicines I'm taking to help with my problems so that's a difficult one to know.

Livestrong does say 1500, so if that's the case I'm ok.
