Not sure if I'm doing this right....

Hi guys,
I started this back in Spring, & so far have lost 10.8kg.....
I'm a little confused as to the calories I should be following... Is it the NET cals or TOTAL cals?????
Any help & tips very appreciated
My BMR tells me I need to eat 1583, is that right or should I stick to my 1200???
