How to track homemade potato chips??

I've made my own potato chips using a potato and the epicure chipster. When tracking the potato, do I track the weight of it before or after it's 'dried' out?? Before I cooked the potato in the microwave it was 170 gms, when finished the total weight was 80gms. What 's the best way to track this????
