Measuring Strength Training

Hi,

I was wondering, when you are putting in Strength Training into the Exercise area and it has the weights, what measurment does this need to be in?

Just in my gym our weights, like dumbells etc, are in kgs but I think in other places their weights are in lbs.

Any help would be much appreciated

Kind Regards, Sam

Just be consistent. It doesn't matter - it's just a tool for you to keep track of your workouts.

Some of the MFP counters are not exactly correct. I'm asking Santa for a FitBit for Christmas. I want to see how many calories are burned when I weight train and compare the walking and other exercises I do. (Please excuse me, I'm an accountant by trade, I like numbers)

Thank you both for your help. See I wasn't sure if it mattered, but I just use it more to keep track of what weights I have done, so I can build and improve on what I have done :)

See I really want to buy a heart rate monitor to work out the amount of calories and stuff I am burning when I do my weight training. Does a FitBit do the same as a heart rate monitor? Hehe and don't worry, my boyfriend is an accountant too, so know all about the love of numbers. They kind of get lost on me hehe :)
