Something really cool that has a huge mental buzz factor!

To anyone that works out at a gym or has weight's at home:

Once a week or maybe once a month, weigh yourself and then go and pickup how much weight you lost! We are all guilty of not seeing the importance of the incremental results because we want to be perfect 10's NOW, but the reality is when you lose 10, 20, 30 and beyond pounds that's a lot of effin' weight!

I have lost over 60lbs and when I pick that up at the gym it's a pretty intense high, and there are many people here that have lost that 3x over...

Giddy up!

I did that last time I lost weight. One of my mini goals was to "lose my daughter"; to lose the amount that she weighed (which was about 48 pounds at the time). When I reached that, I was telling my hubby about it and he told me to pick her up and run back and forth across our apartment. I was very shocked at how heavy she was and how much my legs were shaking after only a minute or so. Goodness, I used to carry that all the time, no wonder I felt so awful!!!

I think about this every time I carry groceries up my apartment steps. I lost 60 pounds and carrying 20 pounds of canned fruits and vegetables up the stairs is like holy crap, I use to just walk around with triple that on me. Crazy.
