Today is my first day using myfitnesspal and i came upon it very "all of a sudden." I have high hopes that this time i can really change my life around and be the healthy, energetic woman that i once used to be. I appreciate all of you that are out there dealing with the same weight loss struggles as myself.......Let's Do This!!!

MFP is an amazing tool. I had no idea it was as simple as counting calories.
Log everything. EVERYTHING. read everything. IGNORE HALF. Exercise.0 -
This tool is awesome. I just make a commitment to log my food daily and am slowly losing weight. I know as I get down more I will have to up the exercise but for now this is working and its so easy. Some days are not so good, I have accepted that this is a journey and its one day at a time. Plus I am OLD! hehee, so its simply going to take longer. After only 12 lbs loss I do feel so much better. Just think what losing 45 will do for me! Hopefully by next summer!
Add some friends, seeing how they are doing and seeing their diaries helps keep me motivated and gives me ideas.0
