Always wanting to eat

Hey. I am eating healthily for the most part and usually sticking to around 1,600 calories a day. I am 5'8, female, 175 pounds, wanting to get back down to 150. My mind is always thinking about food. I am not necessarily hungry... just bored.
Any suggestions as to what to busy my mind with? I mostly work in an office environment with cubicles and people around me who are constantly eating cereal or things like that. There is always food leftover from meetings that gets put out. There is Halloween candy galore.
Ideas or stories appreciated.

Pack yourself snack packs of good items...nuts, grapes, baby carrots, edemame. Keep yogurt handy for the sweet tooth. When it seems like things are more difficult, try to calculate how much you would have to workout to cover that item...that usually makes me realize it's just not worth it. Another option i have found to work is finding a weight loss buddy that you can email, text, or call when you are felling weak. Kind of like a sponsor for AA just for weight loss. When you feel that temptation, contact your safe person to help talk you down from the ledge. Good luck in your future endevours.0

Good ideas, thanks. I think I could sit here and eat veggies all day long. I don't know know why my body is doing this.
