I reading the messages people post on the message board, I'm nosy (SP?). Anyways, some people post things like "I'm going to lose 20 lbs by Christmas." That's a lot! I thought I would try it but quickly realized that is an unrealistic goal for me and I would just be setting myself up for failure.
I'm in a nutrition class right now and the chapter happens to be on weight loss, and it gave me an idea. I'm going to shoot for a small goal by Christmas and that is to try and lose 5% of my body weight. w,ich is 7 lbs. 7 lbs would not take me to my ultimate goal but I think 7 lbs would be huge! I've never really set a time limit for my weight loss so I am a little worried of how I would feel if I don't meet that goal. It doesn't hurt to try though.
