Looking to buy a Heart Rate Monitor, do any of them out there have the ability to track your heartrate of a set workout and link to a smartphone or computer? Curious if there is a graph that will show peaks and valleys etc.

Polar has some great models. Even my FT4 will show you a data chart right on the watch of your HR through a session. You cna also link to Polar's site for more detail.0

The Polar FT80 has that option. It comes with a flowlink that hooks to a USB port. Set the watch on the link and it will upload detailed graphs to the polar personal trainer website. No other watch in the FT polar line has the graph options. I think the RCX models might, but have not had hands on with them.
That being said, the down side. The FT80 has its issues, look to online reviews and you will see that most FT80 users experience down time and have to send things in for repair. Mine quit right after the first battery change at the 8 month range. Polar warranty customer service was terrible. They claimed it was damage and not a product issue. Another issue is the Polar Personal Trainer website. I have tried to use it daily this year and way too many time is is "down". This is the only way to manage your data, there is no stand alone software for the FT series.
To do what I want with a HRM, there doesn't seem to be many options out there. I have a hard time recommending the FT80, but I don't have a better option to endorse.
We also have a Polar FT60 and FT4 in the family and have had no issues with them working. But neither of these have the graph detail that I think you are asking for.0 -

Yes that was my question in a nut shell. I didnt know if a more base model (FT7) had the potential to graph. Thanks for your insight. If anyone else has a way to achieve this with a base model please comment.0
