Caught in a Bad Diet Backslide

In two years, I managed to lose 60 pounds with diet and exercise (woohoo). I maintained my weight for about a year after that. I have been training for my first half marathon for a month or so now, and ever since I started running, I've done nothing but gain weight. I've gained nine pounds in four or five weeks and I'm terrified of backsliding.
I'd love to believe it's muscle (yeah, right), but the truth is, I can't stop putting food in my mouth lately, whether I'm hungry or not. I used to be pretty good about tracking calories on myfitnesspal, and I'm going to start again tomorrow morning. Hopefully, it will keep my hand out of the cookie jar.
Anyone else have problems with gaining weight back? It's making me really nervous. I don't think I could lose it all over again.
