after dinner i got called back in to work. it was 1200am when i got home and i was starving. is it ok to eat if i feel these urges? i keep well hydrated to fend off such urges...
i just dont know is the caloric intake more damaging to my weight loss goals or is the hormonal signals sent by hunger more damaging to my weight loss goals?

having had to go back to work has made you burn more cals than you would have done if u had stayed at home i maybe totaly wrong but if your hungry i think you should eat something
if i am hungry before i go to bed i will have a light snack just enough to keep the rumbles away i cant sleep if i am hungry and that wouldnt be good
maybe a piece of toast or a few crakers will take the starving feeling away and wouldnt be to high in cals as to damage your weight loss goals0 -
Meal timing is irrelevant as to weight control. Caloric deficit within a particular time frame, be it a day, week, month etc... is what matters for weight loss. You're just fine.
Just my opinion.
Edit for example:
I ate a pint of Ben & Jerry's at 3 am last Friday night after some...activities we'll say. No adverse effect other than making me want more damn B&J's.0
