Yes, but only enough to keep me around 14 to 15 hundred. when I didn't I got into trouble. most days I can burn 850 to 1000 calories caue I have plenty of time to work out. my weight loss stalled when I started doing that. When I started eating back enough to get that 14oocalories I started to lose weight again. 85 pounds down now, with 5 more to go0

I do if I'm hungry. I've lost 40lbs so far so I'd say it's working.
Me too. Currently I've got a bad cold, so I'm not exercising - hence I try to stick to my basic calories, but when I'm back at the exercise I will eat those extra babies if I need 'em.
I never used to, being obsessed with losing as much as possible in a week - now I'm more chilled and aim for the -1lb every 7 days, slow and steady wins the race.
The only other thing I do is - if I've got forewarning that I'm going to be socialising and food is involved, I tend to push the exercise a little more so I've got more "pre-bought" calories to work with.
Hope this helps.

I not only don't eat them, I don't even post them because I don't want to forget I did and eat them. :laugh:0

Definitely not, in fact if I exercise I eat even less... after all, if I want to under-eat why do things by halves? Let's add to the deficit your body is already working with!0

If I'm not hungry I don't but if I am hungry I do. I exercise both to be healthy and so I have a little leeway about what i can eat. I like my morning coffee with fattening creamer.0

Yep and enjoying every last one of them!!! Best of Luck... :drinker:
It works for me too.0 -
I eat about half back and i have been loosing weight nearly every week. Its upto you relly, i know most people say dont eat any back, but i think you should eat some back to fuel your body (especially if you burn lots of calories) Good luck xx0

Yes, I surely do.0

I don't, because I base my calorie goals on TDEE which already includes exercise.
It depends on whether you are following MFP or your own TDEE calculation. MFP requires you to eat exercise calories in addition to your calorie goal, I'd recommend you eat some of it back if that's the case.
I will eat them back IF I go over the amount of exercise that I have already included in my TDEE calculation - it's not often but that's because my plan already has them built in. When I was using the 'standard mfp plan' I ate back around half because I don't have a HRM.
When you go for long periods not eating enough, your body eventually 'adjusts' and compensates for the lack of energy it is being fed by instigating a metabolic slow down. The slower your metabolism is the longer it takes to lose weight. The more time you hit plateaus the more you try to exercise then eat even less. If you are not feeling hungry and netting less than your BMR it is because your body has slowed your metabolism to compensate and not because you are actually eating enough.0
