This week, I made my own dough (yeast, sugar, water, flour) and my own pizza sauce (no salt added tomato sauce, italian seasonings, dash of salt and pepper, garlic and olive oil) and topped my pizza with turkey pepperoni, and a slew of veggies. My pizza came in at about the same calorie count as a frozen pizza but it was SO much more filling and fresh and tasty than any frozen pizza I've ever had.
When I have to eat frozen, I buy the DiGiorno 200 calorie pizza and pair it with a side salad.0 -

Dr. Oetker Thin Crust Pizza Spinaci -- it's the frozen put-it-in-the-oven-you-slacker variety. A quarter pizza is 220 calories (2 slices) and the bready bits are at a minimum. Obviously too much sodium but that and a light spinach salad or some steamed veggies is a lovely dinner.

Here is a healthy pizza recipeYou Won't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust
1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower**
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2tsp fennel
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley
pizza or alfredo sauce
toppings
mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees farenheit.
Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe).
Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese.
Place under a broiler at high heat just until cheese is melted.0
