Who has an awesomely tasty hommus recipe for me that is low in calories?

    1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
    1/2 c. plain yogurt
    2 tsp olive oil
    2 T. lemon juice
    3 garlic cloves, crushed
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. cumin
    1/4 t. cayenne
    1/8 t. black pepper

    Place all ingredients in food processor. Process until desired consistency.

    oh..bump!!!

    BTW...had an incredibly tasty sandwich last night....
    veggie burger patty on whole wheat pita with "fiesty feta" spread and hummus.....SO good. Give it a try!

    BTW...had an incredibly tasty sandwich last night....
    veggie burger patty on whole wheat pita with "fiesty feta" spread and hummus.....SO good. Give it a try!

    I had some left over butternut squash the other day, I added about 3/4 cup to a can of chickpeas, added a touch of coconut oil, curry powder, and a small clove of garlic plus some salt and pepper

    whized it up in my food processor and added a splash of water until it was a consistency I like OH MAN was it delish!

    Ooooh that sounds amazing! Will have to try it - just curious though, here in Australia, Cocnut oil only comes in 2 forms - solid in a jar, or as a cooking spray. Which one do you use in this?
