Hi out there,

I like threads about recipes and sharing food pics as inspiration to cook new stuff, but most of the pics and recipes are overloaded with meat and/or fish. I would like to meet some other vegetarians/ vegans here to share this jounrey and nice food ideas.

I'm vegetarian, but eat no eggs. I eat fish, but restricted it to four times a year.

So vegetarians and vegans from all over the world - let's get connected.

Hello! I'm vegetarian, although my intake of dairy products is fairly limited (primarily due to the fact that I don't like cow's milk, so I stick with dairy-free and soya/etc. alternatives where possible), and I'm ... slowly making the transition to veganism. OTOH, I've become super lax with cooking of late and I really need to get back into it. I'd be more than happy to share veg*n recipes; it'd be a good way to kick my butt into gear with cooking again!

Hey there, I'm a vegetarian too (although I occasionally eat fish). I think that one of my lifesavers has been hummus. In moderation, it's low-calorie, filling, and delicious! Also, if you have a slow cooker, I'm making a delicious Moroccan vegetable stew right now. It has chickpeas, eggplant, green pepper, sweet potato, tomatoes, and carrots with garlic, onion, cumin, paprika, cardamom, and cinnamon for flavoring. Let me know if you ever want recipes!

Wow, that's sounds delicious. Sadly I have no slow cooker. Can you also make it in a normal pot?

Check out findingvegan. com! I always like seeing pics of recipes before I decide to make them, and this site links to all types of blogs with awesome vegan food! I've found a lot of blogs to follow from some of the recipes there.
