Do your thighs need a break?

I have always heard that you can never over work your abs or your calves. I know the say the arm muscles you should only work every other day but what about the thighs- hamstrings, saddle bag area, glutes, inner thighs, etc., Which category do they fall in? Can i do lunges, squats, etc every day or do I need to give those muscles a day of rest as well?

It would be best to give them a rest. When the muscles rest is when they get stronger..... not when you are working out0

Ok, Thanks. Just was not sure if thighs fell under the same category as the abs or the arms.0
