HEY DUDES

I know a lot of you guys have beards and are very proud of your beards.

I have questions for you, though.

Do you shampoo/condition your beards? Do you comb it?

I think this is a good idea and all you men out there with beards should definitely do this.

Because I know you have a lot of pride in your beards... so you should make them look as attractive as possible, right? So! I think that if you cleaned them the same way you clean the hair on your head, then they would look really nice.

JUST A THOUGHT. WANTED TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THOUGHT ABOUT THAT.

    My man has one...never seen him without it...but since I've only known him since June I guess that isn't all that weird. I do think he'd think I was strange if I asked him if he washes it...hmmm

    I know mine washes his with shampoo, because I shower with him often. :bigsmile:
    I love cold weather when he lets his beard grow out!

    But does he CONDITION it? Would that make it smooth and silky? Does he comb it? WOULD THAT BE AWESOME?? Y/N???

    Shampoo and shave it every morning. Carry a comb, too, because when I get off my motorcycle, I need to comb it out.

    when i have a beard, i do wash, condition and brush it.

    i don't ask other guys about it, but it seems odd that people wouldn't do this.

    My hubby does, he shampoos, conditions and combs it, he even gets me to trim the split ends off of it every few weeks.

    ahahahah omg my brother said that the other day.

    I have 2 brothers who have fairly amazing beards - one actually calls his "The beard child" he does brush/comb it out once and a while and does shampoo it but not often. He tells me with his hair being almost to his waist washing his beard is the least of his worries

    I also give it a neat trim ever so often, to make sure I get rid of split ends and very coarse hairs.

    Well you're supposed to wash and comb it often.


    I use one of those mascara brushes my girl gets for free when she goes to a makeup store. Its perfect because its got really fine bristles that can comb through all the hairs, which makes them straight. Its also good to have a toothbrush on hand (unused) so that you can brush away the dead skin-cells under the hair and keep the hair healthy.

    Trying my hand at a handlebar and its going quite smoothly I must say. Looking forward to the purchase of beeswax and 30 year old scotch in my near future.

    My brother just calls his 'the beard' and works it into every conversation he possibly can (logically or not). I think he's still excited he can grown it out now after he got out of the national guard (almost a year ago). It's pretty epic, but he doesn't keep food in there. He does like to use moustache wax, and he wants to do awesome stuff with it when it gets long enough.

    My dad used to make jokes about keeping food in his beard at every meal, but he kept a comb in his shirt pocket at all times. Couldn't fool anybody like that! Haha.

    I wash mine when I wash my hair. Doesn't need combing at the moment, The longer it gets it will get combed.I have a little comb that came with my beard and mustache trimmer.
