Hi There,
I'm new to MFP.
I'm looking to lose about 30 pounds, my goal is to get back to about 175. I'm a mom to 2 great kids (6 and soon to be 4), I have an amazing husband who is also my best friend.
I'm doing this weight loss for me - I want to have more energy in my day to day and I want to live a healthier lifestyle without feeling like there are forbidden foods.
I have struggled wtih hiding my eating in the past - and as a result my weight has been all over the place. I did have some success on WW after my daughter was born, but since then the pounds have crept back on.
I am almost through my first week of the C25K training program/workout, and running has become an addiction. I can't wait to get home to get on my treadmill. Last night I challenged myself, I wanted to know how long I could run for. After a 5 minute warmup of very brisk walking (4 mph), I was able to run/jog at 5.2mph for a full 8 minutes. I walked for 90 seconds, and then completed another full 8 minutes. I have set 2 goals for myself that I want to complete a 5K race (3.12 miles) and a 10K race (6.25 miles) in 2013. My mini goal is that the first time I am able to jog/run the full 5K for the first time I am going to treat myself to something from Lululemon.
