I'm arranging a football match as part of a Scottish 'Fit fans in training' programme, (Over 35 years, BMI over 30) and need to get some good ideas for especially healthy recipes for after the match (90 minutes, 11 a side)
Anyone got some fairly straightforward ideas that I can use,
I'm thinking of watermelon chunks as a starter for rehydration, and the lycopene, citrulline and potassium content, and ginger based no sugar drink for anti-inflammatory properties and natural pain relief. (and we'll definitely need that after the game...)
Maybe some kind of healthy soup, and a protein based main? Catering for about 30 in number, so no 'masterchef' type presentations required!
