How many corn nuts are in 1oz?

Does anyone know? I am about to bring my food scale to work and that will look really weird!

    I've considered this...I think I'd say it's for shipping... ;)

A quick peruse of the net finds nothing. You had better weigh at home. :)

There are 28 almonds in one ounce. Corn nuts are a little bit smaller than almonds, so just to be safe, I'd go with 30.

But corn nuts are so much lighter.

I might have to buy a bag and measure at home. We have a snack drawer at work and I am addicted to these stinkers!!!

This. Buy a bag, pre-measure out baggies of 1oz, then it's ready to grab and go when you need it!!

After figuring in the chemical composition and the amount of loss from the air pockets inside i would have to say 1 oz

  • Interesting fact: Corn nuts aren't nuts at all. They're legumes.

  • LMAO! Cracking up!

The point is - I don't keep this crap at home, only at work when I break down and have a few. I will just take home 10 and weigh them. Problem solved.

And chemical composition is much interesting when it comes out of the other end....
