Spartan Race - Calories

So I am doing this on Saturday. http://www.spartanrace.com/gulf-coast-obstacle-racing-spartan-sprint-2012.html

Cannot wear my Fitbit as it will get wet. Not going to be a typical run outside....

So how will I determine my calories for it?

    if you must log your calories for your race (i didn't bother when i did warrior dash or my zombie rum) then i would log the miles run (whatever my time was the last time i ran the same distance as the race - 10 miles right?) then add in strength training for the obstacles. like i said i do not put in my calories for my mud races because i know i burned a LOT and i make race day my cheat day.
