Back injury has me stalled

Hey all

Looking for some motivation. I have a back injury that has me on very tight restrictions on what I can do in the gym (I have only been allowed back in the last 2 wks and only twice a week). The main one being no cardio! I have also had a cold for a month now and am tight on funds so eating exceptionally healthy has been hard. I have come so far (I have lost a total after 2 pregnancies and a stressful job with shift work- 79lbs) but I have been off for months now. My muscles have slipped away and I can feel my wt creeping back up. I lost wt and had 5 lbs left to my goal even through all this but now it has creeped back up to the wt I seemed to always be stalled at even with cardio in my fitness regime. I have lost motivation to cook and keep up on my diet as strictly as I used to be. Blame money and stress I guess.

Any words of inspiration to break through this down time I am having? I could really use anything ya got!

I have had a bad back after getting rear ended twice in two weeks. Neither of which was my fault. It's hard to keep motivated when you have back issues. It seems to take over your life. One thing I did was get an exercise ball, one of the big ones you sit on and just bounce on it. Watch TV and just bounce up and down. It doesnt' take much effort of your back, but gets the heart going a bit. Is it as good as a bike, treadmill or walking, no but it's a start to getting back into the game. You can also sit on the ball and do some punching, as if you were hitting a boxing bag. Use two pound weights. Don't give up on yourself. Just remember if you were advising a friend what to do, what would you say? You are your own biggest friend. Say what you would to a friend to yourself....
