Ohh

The worst thing I get when talking to someone and they ask how big I am and when I tell them there only response is "ohh" then silence. Has any one else dealt with the "ohh" ? I can't think if anyway you can take that as a positive.

Why would someone ask how big you are? Can't they see you?

I don't think anyone apart from one very close friend has ever asked me my weight. His reaction to my being into 3 figures (in kg) was raised eyebrows and an exclamation of disbelief. Now he's into 3 figures and I'm not, so he can't say he didn't bring it on himself :)

Was thinking the same thing! My response was 8 - 8.5.

She was probably just excited when you told her.

Are they looking to date you? I guess if they aren't into big guys then it's their opinion. At least they are letting you know, even if it IS in a very classless kind of way. I personally would rather see whomever in person and judge from there and personality also plays into it too.

I was wondering this as well. If these phone conversations are "describe yourself" moments, never having seen the person? - or if it's someone you know, who's seen you and is asking about your weight specifically.

I can't imagine this being a reoccuring thing, since it happened over the phone. I would brush it off if I were you.
The "ohh" response seems awkward on their part. Maybe they wouldn't have had any thing to reply with regardless of what your answer was and all they could come up with was "ohh" as an indication that they heard/acknowledged what you said.
