Unconventional uses for common foods...

What food products do you use for a purpose other than what people typically use them for? (all food related...lol)

Examples:

1. cream cheese in pasta

2. biscuit dough for pizzas

3. instant coffee in protein shakes

Another one- I'm not sure if this counts or not- but lately a staple of mine has been to make protein lattes- 1 scoop vanilla protein, 4oz milk, blend (mini blender for me), slowly blend in however much coffee (pumpkin spice lately!), and stevia and cinnamon to taste- then microwave result for 30s to reheat (careful- overheating will denature the protein and make it chunky- eew!). It gets a nice heady foam and tastes DELICIOUS!

Ranch dressing mixed with tuna in pasta salad. Sooooo much better than mayo.

Ranch on baked potatoes. Ranch with buffalo wings. Ranch and salsa as a dip.

I have a stupid Ranch Tooth that won't shut up.

That's what I use when I make my fake mashed potatoes - using cauliflower, garlic and yogurt.

And if you rub it against your teeth its supposed to whiten them (same with a slice of strawberry)
