Hi Everyone
I have been doing some thinking lately and am wondering on those of you out there who suffer from IBS - what sort of diet do you follow? I am Gluten free also.
I have many friends in the gym who are protein-a-holics who have pushed their theories on me that the more protein consumed = the better for muscle development etc so for the last 12months have followed a high protein / low carb diet.
I use Soy / Pea Protein Powders usually consumed in smoothie form for breaky, followed by using Huma Pro after a workout.
My other meals are grilled fish (flathead , salmon, tuna) salads (no dressing) steamed vegetables and quinoa.
I eat cleanly, with rare indulgences like takeaway or alchol something that might occur once a month.
I workout daily - I follow a 6 day split for lifting combined with bootcamps, crossfit, step class, spin class... Im also a horse-rider, so I ride 3-4 times per week. so i have good variety in what workouts I do.
now getting back to the reason behind this post.
lately my weightloss has stalled.
im sitting around 60kg.
im getting bloated again even though my diet is being catered for my intolerances.
Do you guys think I would benefit from going 'raw' ?
