I used MFP pretty regularly last year with great success. In January of this year I start travelling more for my job and eating almost every meal on the road. Slowly I lost my good habits and fell back into my bad ways. I was using food as a stress relief, caring more about how it made me feel than about what kind of fuel it was giving my body. I ate whatever sounded good at restaurants instead of what could be good for me. I started drinking more often and the weight crept (or rushed) back on. I am about 14 pounds heavier than I was at the end of last year and really need to get it together. I have about a two week break right now that I am going to use to find my focus again and re-launch my journey.
As someone said to me today, it's not about where we have been but where we are going. I could use friends who will help me stay motivated. I could absolutely use friends who travel a lot and could share advice and encouragement along the way.
