I find the end of the world theories to be interesting. I don't think I really believe it though.
What's everyone elses thoughts on this?!

I think things are going to change, but I don't think it will be the end of the world. It might be the end of the world as we know it (stock market might crash, new depression, money will be worth nothing), but we are not all going to die.0

This was before leap years dudes. When it was incorporated every 4 years we added a day. The end of the world should have came and gone, like Y2K. We are just destined to be killed by jihadists.0 -
Since the Mayan calendar did not take in to account leap years the predicted day of destruction already happened...in June or July of 2011.0

Remember when it was like 1998 and people were all "dude Y2k is totally gonna be the end of the world as we know it" and people were hoarding canned goods and bottled water and preparing for the end of the world when the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2000? And then after it was already 2000 and nothing happened people were all "ok well it's totally gonna happen soon!" And then the world was supposed to end again like a year and a half ago, and it didn't, and then the guy who said he was like a prophet or something was all "oohh jk it's really gonna happen in a few months" and then it still didn't and he was all "well it's gonna happen soon, for reals y'all..."
Yeah. Same thing.0 -

I think we have awhile yet.
I mean 12-21-2012 doesn't make as much sense as 12-21-2112, right?0 -
There have been about 514 Leap Years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years, today would be July 28, 2013. Also, the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year...so technically the world should have ended 7 months ago.
