Plateau: Could it be the beer?

I lost my first 10 lbs pretty quickly, but hit a plateau a few weeks ago. I'm pretty active and usually burn 500-700 calories per day working out. I tend to not eat many calories early in the day, operating at a caloric deficit until dinner when I blow it the hell out with a delicious meal (usually covered in cheese) and a couple of double IPAs (200-250 cals each). I'm going into this fat and calorie fest with 1000-1200 calories to burn and I rarely use all of my allotted calories, but I'm wondering if the timing or the peak and valley style of eating is affecting my metabolism.

I'd hate to give up my IPAs, but if I have to, I suppose I could switch to whiskey for a while.

Find a way to make what you want fit into your calorie budget if you want to break through the plateau. You'll probably be more satisfied if you make sure you get the basics of good health, however - water, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins.

So you eat less than 1200 calories a day and you burn 500-700? You have less than 10 lbs to goal..What is your TDEE? I will bet money you aren't eating anywhere near enough.I'd bet you need to net somewhere between 1400-1600+ how tall are you and what do you weight now?

Umm, I don't know what TDEE means. But I'm 5'2", 138. I do eat some of my exercise calories back, so most days I'm taking in 1600ish total cals.
