Kettleballs Good for Core?

I was at Target today and perused the exercise equipment aisle. I love strength training using dumbells and barbells and had always thought that kettleballs would give me the same overall benefit as traditional weights. However, I saw a poster that compared various forms of exercise and t claimed that kettleballs were effective for strengthing the core but traditional weights were not. Is that true? If so, I'm definitely going to try kettleballs!

It's really just a preference thing. "Traditional" exercises using dumbbells and barbells are very good for the core too. Especially if you're doing the big compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, overhead press, bench, etc.. Do whatever you enjoy the most, I'd say.0
