Hi, my name is Crystal and I'm new to weight training.
I sprained my foot back in June and have had problems ever since....I had X-rays and an EMG and they couldn't figure out whats wrong with me. They just prescribed neurontin and pain killers to treat the symptoms. (heres a pic of the ankle and me almost 40lb's heavier. http://phatycake.com/2012/11/tequila-my-ankle-and-the-expensive-mystery-pain/)
So, after 1.5 rounds of Inanity, I've been asked to stop by my doctor. I had an MRI done yesterday morning and they found I've had torn tendons and muscle with 9 bruised bones. Nevertheless, I've been asked to come in Monday morning to get a cast.
No beuno.
Anyway, since I'm a SAHM of three kids and the 'at home' programs work best for me, I started Body Beast today.
I'm new to this world and would love some support of others who are familiar with this world and can provide feedback, insight, motivation, ect.
Thanks!!

Take it easy on your foot. You won't do yourself any favors by using it too much. If you want to weight lift right now, stick to your upper body.
I use a gym, but when I travel and don't have access to it, I use my kettlebell and resistance bands. The kettlebell is becoming a fave, though.0 -
Thanks. Yes, I' avoiding anything in regards to my foot.
I did buy a resistance band along with some arm weights and dumbells.0 -
