HELP - Family's different nutritional needs

I've been doing really well with my eating....until I found out that my 8 year old son isn't gaining enough weight (medication suppressing his appetite). It isn't the stress that is causing my problems, it is the fact that I'm doing everything I can to get him to eat more calories....and I'm the one eating more.

Because of his lack of appetite, that means stocking the house with lots of high calorie foods (bacon, cheese, cookies, etc). Unfortunately, not only does he have allergies (so all high calorie nut products are out), he is also a picky eater. So I make a batch of cookies, and he nibbles one and says he doesn't like it. Well, who do you think ends up snacking on all those unwanted cookies? Me.

I can accept the fact that meals that used to be made "healthier", with lower fat sauces etc, now simply have to be the full fat versions. I just really struggle with all the snack food, which I usually eliminate from the house when I'm working on eating better.

Anyone have any advice on how to resist his foods, when they are completely unavoidable?
