Anyone else zig zags?

Been at this for a few weeks. I weigh myself about every 4-5 days, but the weights zig zag up and down way too much. I started at 198 then dropped to 193 a week later, a few days later up to 193 then 5 days later up to 201, 2 days after down to 189, then up to 194, and so on ~ up down up down! The roller coster is getting to me. I log them both, my progress chart looks like the stock market :)
I did buy a new scale shortly after the first 3 weigh ins because I thought it was the old scale I had, but seeing the same results with the new scale too. I alway weigh in the mornings and no shoes.
Is this normal? The zig zag thing? Any suggestions?

    Are you weighing yourself at the same time every day? Your weight varies during certain times of the day. Also, it can vary from day to day. Try weighing yourself weekly (say every Friday) and the results should be more regular.

    I weigh myself daily but have been doing this long enough not to freak out when the scale says I gained 3 lbs overnight.
