Question for ladies...

I apologize in advance for possibly being forward or giving TMI... I am just a tad concerned.

I started exercising more regularly about 2 weeks ago. Started C25k and a new workout with my trainer. My period is late by 4 days. My question is can abundant/rigorous exercise throw off your "system" and make you late, or even skip a period? B/c I shouldn't be pregnant (but things can happen), but of course, I'm freaking out... because that's what I do. LOL!

Thanks, ladies...

  • Yes. Sometimes even the slightest change can throw off your cycle, be it diet or exercise, even stress. I understand your concern completely! I'd freak out too, lol.

I think your body is just adjusting to your new lifestyle. It happens! When I change up my exercise/diet or get sick, mine is affected too.

But, if no period after 7-9 days of your normal, then test to be sure.

Also make sure you are getting plenty of fluids, that can sometime effect your period!
