You may want to consider making your own protein shakes to cut back on that sweetness you are getting from the Special K. When I drink at least two protein shakes a day, I feel awesome, but I make them out of non-dairy milk, frozen fruit, and pea protein powder. The only sugar comes from the fruit. A cup of strawberries is a good smoothie base. Plus, without the added sugars, you'd have room for more food in the day before dinner.

I couldn't handle that much sweet. and I love my smoothies..I do avocado and spinach to cut the sweet.
