Hi, okay so I have a really bad habit.
I will get the movtivation to work out and I'll stick to it for about 2-3 weeks, I will do great making sure i work out 4-5 times a weeks. I feel great. but then all of sudden I'll lose that motivation and just stop working out for about a month. I'm in this slump now and I've been working out for 3 weeks and have lost 3lbs. I'm so happy! but I don't know how to get my butt off the couch.
Any advice would be very helpful. I've made a goal for myself and I need to reach it!
Thanks guys!

Hey there!
I have the same issues with sticking to the plan. Motivation comes from within mostly. People can only motivate you so much but the real motivator that's gonna get your bum off that couch is you. For me, I think about my goals and the results I want. When I see bad foods, I think to myself "what will that do for me?" and ultimately the answer is nothing and I move on. Losing weight is more than just exercising. You have to fit your diet to the plan too. When you eat healthier and watch your calories, that usually helps motivate you to want to workout and move along the road of your journey you're taking. I hope some of this help and it wasn't just a mumble jumble of useless information. Haha. Happy Saturday! Keep up the awesome work!

make a little motivation board, get all those pictures of you that you hate, and loads of pictures of what you want to look like, Best place to keep it? on the fridge! Ha!0

Are you following some type of program? What keeps me going back to the gym 6 days a week is the complete wrench it would throw in my schedule.0

Finding a workout partner is the best solution but not feasible. But if you think you know someone that may want to workout, ask them. Knowing that someone will be let down if you don't show is a fantastic motivator. And you'd be surprised at how many people you know would say yes if you asked.
Absent that, just try to push thru. Once you make it a habit after 6-8 weeks, nothing will stop you from making your workouts. So push thru the hard part at the three week mark knowing that it gets easier soon, not harder0 -
I found a thread where a lot of other gals were doing the 30 day shred (Jillian Michaels). I got the DVD and I've been following their progress and comparing what they are going through with what I'm doing. That way I know what to expect for things like when the soreness will go away, when it starts getting easier, when the exercises will make me feel like I'm going to die. lol It's the next best thing to having an exercise partner. Hearing their experiences really keeps me going.0
