shrinking boobies!

When I lost 40 pounds, I went from a 42D to about a 40C. I can still wear my old bras because the hooks adjust, but the cups are noticeably too large. I finally went and bought a couple new bras. Many women don't realize this, but having a bra that ACTUALLY fits you (and yes, this requires going in for an actual fitting, not just guesstimating in the dressing room) will perk up your girls no matter what size they are-- it's a big confidence-booster, too!0

I have lost 28 lbs and noticed the girls are shrinking too. Not much yet, but I am hoping they shrink a lot!0
-
It depends on the person. I have always had big ones, even at 100lb I have at least D cups. After losing 65lb this past year I went from a DDD to a DD.0

I gained boobs when I gained a lot of weight, so I figure they will disappear when the weight goes. My boyfriend definitely noticed the difference with them.0
-
I think mine might have gone down but not by much. However, my husband says that with my tummy shrinking they look bigger now than they did before.0
-
unfortunately yes lol
i went from a DD to a C, i lost about 50 from square one
SUCKS! but all depends on the person and how you carry your weight but its expected to lose some0 -
I lost a total of 64 pounds and I went from a c cup to an A so yes that can happen but everyones different.
Btw I had lost 60 before I got this app so that's why it only appears that I lost 4 :P0 -
Yup! My 38C girls are now **barely** 34B. I just refuse to buy any cup size that says 'A'. My soon to be 13 year old daughter wears the same size as me!! Of course, she inherited some genes from my momma and her paternal grandma that give her those. Lord knows the only time I have respectable "girls" is when I'm overweight!!0
-
Honestly I think that if you didn't have them before you gained weight then you probably won't have them after you lose it. I am kinda glad to see mine go. Dang crumb catchers!0
-
Yep, I've lost about 3 sizes so far Not happy about it cause nothing fits right anymore & my damn nipples stand out ALL of the time now. Down from a DD to a D cup but was an E at the start I think.0
-
I've always had a small bust, I only ever had boobs when I was pregnant and then I had boobs because I was fat. I thought they may stay a bit bigger because they only dropped down 1 cup size over a whole year... but now I can no longer deny I have dropped another cup size hahahaha. Back down to the A cup I was as a teen.0

No matter how much weight I lose, I am always a DD cup...grr. My band size goes down, but not the cup size (of course a DD cup with a 36" band size is smaller than a DD cup with a 40" band size, for example). I wish wish wish I could be a C cup! I would love to get a reduction when I reach goal, but idk if insurance will cover it, and they probably wouldn't.
I totally understand your frustration with being a DD. I hate it. I'm hoping as I progress with weight loss that they go down. I can hope. (: I don't have insurance so all of the surgery would come out of pocket for me and I just don't have that kind of money.
I need to lose several cup sizes soon or it's surgery for me... my back is beginning to give me issues (36G )
I seriously feel for you. I couldn't imagine going up any further than what I am now. I sure do hope that your boobs go down soon.0 -
I paid for new boobies and now I'm pretty much back to my pre-op size! Gutted! Dread to think what they'd look like right now if I hadn't had them done!0
-
I absolutely lost most of mine. I started out as a 38 B and after losing 30 pounds I am now a 36A. Definitely not the place I want to lose it, but my padded bras do the trick.0
-
Oh gawd yes. I went from a 38DD to a 34B cup.
I'm so ecstatic I could spit. Prior to the weight loss, I wanted a breast reduction in the worst way. Shirts would not fit, and any sort of running/plyometric exercises were out of the question. At my heaviest, they still weren't big enough for insurance to cover it, when I got a quote from a plastic surgeon, it would have cost me $8000 out of pocket.
I'm so glad I lost the weight. Mine are just about perfect now.
^ I just love your post. :flowerforyou:0 -
I barely had boobs in the first place, 50lbs more to go. It's cool though because I don't like boobs anyways.0
-
Before losing weight I was small chested. I wore a 34A. After losing weight I'm even smaller! I now have to shop for bras in the tween section. It's challenging there to find a bra that doesn't have Hello Kitty on it! Weight loss does come at a price.0
-
oh yeah i'm boobs went down a whole cup size, i was a D now i'm a C. i'm happy though because my boobs over took my body!0
-
Unfortunately, yes.0
-
I noticed when I gained weight, I went up a cup size. I'm hoping at my target weight, I'll be a 32B, hoping closer to C still. If I go back to having no boobs, I will be upset! I love my boobs! I dont to look like a teenager!0
-
I went from a 34C to a 32B. Ah well.0
-
Some do shrink, some don't. Mine shrank somewhat and all I did was lose ten pounds. I wasn't made to be boobtastic.0
-
I started at 38D at my highest and 40lbs down I'm now 34D/36C (seems to depends on where I get the bra from from). Not complaining at all! I remember being about 36b/c when I was younger before I put on all the weight (at about 16) so I'm wondering if i'll drop down to a C by the time I lose the next 30 lbs. I'll be sad if I do but as there's probably fat there it'll go - no doubt before the belly/thigh fat lol.
The only down side to still having bigger boobs is I could be a dress size down if they were smaller and I wouldn't have to buy blouses/shirts that are a size bigger for fear of them looking like they're going to burst. 'Fitted' shirts aren't made for d cups! My guide uniform blouse ('fitted' apparently) is a size 18 where I normally wear a 14 these days and even with safety pins it has the 'bursting' look at times. Still, I wouldn't swap them.0 -
Although I haven't measured myself, since the end of August I have lost 25 lbs and I too am discovering that the cup is roomy. I swear I have had boobs since I was 8-9 years old, and throughout never below a B so I am good with that. I was a DD, so that for me is a welcomed relief...back problems.0
-
I haven't lost any in the boobs yet. I have lost 25% of my total goal so its impossible to tell yet.0
-
I've lost in the breast department. I was smaller than I am not before I put on the weight, so by logic, I'll loose a more. I'm not unhappy about this. I have plenty to spare.0
-
I'm really hoping to lose my boobs! I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've known some girls who lost a lot of weight, and lost a lot of their breast size; honestly, it was always a vast improvement.
Yours would be " "moobs"...:bigsmile:0 -
It's normal, my fiance has said the same thing. I dont really notice, my size in bras have gone down but not the cup size. Lately I am noticing that they arent filling the way they used to :frown:0
-
Yesssss for me it was a major change. I was a 40 F and now I'm a 34 D. I couldn't be happier!! I still have my girls and they are perky again.:happy:0
-
Even at 60 kg mine were DD's. So not anticipating that the cup size will change and I hope they don't! However the band size has dropped a size already. From a 18 to a 16. Depends on genetics I suppose.0
