HCG Diet

Hi, I'm at day 6 of phase 2 and have lost 3kgs which equates to just over 6 pounds. I'm an Australian and here we have strict government regulations on vitamins supplements, diets etc. Here you can only buy the HCG drops through a naturopath.
Like many I was VERY skeptical and concerned/scared about the HCG drops as my health is my highest priorty. I closely monitored my friends, who was on HCG for months.. After witnessing their amazing success, my husband and I decided to go on the plan.
I'm a morning eater so I decided to have my first meal for breakfast and 2nd meal for lunch leaving a piece of fruit for when hungry and the other for dinner.
The first day was daunting for me, I had my 1st meal (broccoli and meat) and felt hunger and deprevation straight away. The morning I was busy with urgent paperwork that had to be done and was thankful for the distraction.
I had read that you could mix up the approved veggies: so my lunch meal I had 3 veggies with my meat. Felt more satisfied and realized in the afternoon how much I snacked on healthy foods. The absence was daunting. The first day was the hardest hunger however it did subside ....all I had to deal with was the psychology of eating less.
That night we went to a birthday party dinner at a friends house and I was asked to bring salad. To be social, we had our salad and filled our plate with mainly big lettuce leaves and a little of the other aproved veggies on top. The only difficult time was when the other food was passed around the table saying no. This lasted a few minutes and then we all got on with the conversation. Birthday cake came out (20year old and teenagers present) usually because it's homemade I would have some and compliment the chef. This time I rejected having some, and again within a min or 2 everyone was back to normal. I have watched in the past at birthday dinners yes the children have cake but a lot of the adults sit back and not have it, some due to clashing with their drink others just too full etc. I've even seen children so no and the adults carry on about them rejecting it.. ( what it that teaching them!)
I always feel pressured at events to eat, a feeling of being antisocial for not participating or disrespect to the chef who has worked hard to provide this wonderful meal. They all knew it was day 1 of our new diet and I explained that every diet I start there is always an event that derails it. As most people are needing to lose some weight everyone agreed and left us alone.
So we have had success! I don't feel hungry and I feel happy and have energy. I was told to only walk and do yoga, any more exercise will increase hunger can also put on muscle and change scales accuracy of fat loss. So I'm holding back on workouts, plan to lose the weight then learn in phase 3 what my needs are then continue with adding workouts and build muscle definition. ...well that the plan
FOOD: this is a long post so if anyone is interested I will post next

This site doesn't allow discussions about HCG. It is dangerous and goes against the Guidelines of this site, prohibiting "unsafe weight loss techniques".0

HCG is totally bogus. If you want to do an extremely low cal diet which is very unhealthy you can do it without shelling money out for drops. It's all in your head that the drops are doing anything but draining your wallet.0
