Tummy noises?

Options
So I'm not sure if this is in the right board, but...

I need some advice about my stomach. I could be not hungry, not bursting at the seams, not, erm... Flatulent... But my stomach still makes these ridiculous noises. I'm not sure why it could be happening, but it's starting to get really embarrassing when I'm in class, hanging out, on a date, etc...

So basically what I was wondering is, does anyone else have this problem, and how do I make it stop?

My Oma used to tell me if I had a grumpy tummy to put some ginger in some tea and drink it. I also put ginger powder on my food sometimes, no more grumpy tummy.

Is it every day or only sometimes?
It can happen during your period.

Good idea on the ginger... I'll have to pick some up the next time I go home. And yes, it does happen just about every day. Actually it decreases a little bit during my TOM haha

Yes ginger is a great source. I add fresh ginger to my morning smoothie and it really quiets my tummy.

I'M NOT ALONE! Haha. I get these ALL the time, especially in class when it's super quiet. And I'm just like nooo, smh! I think it's digestive noises...or just gas or air LOL. Usually happens when I don't eat enough or too often or when I chew a lot of gum :( So I chug down a gallon of water and hope that it goes away!

If you're chewing sugar-free gum, make sure it doesn't have sorbitol as an ingredient -- it can cause gas.

check with your dr. i have a relative who has a noisy stomach related to a medical issue. He's supposed to avoid certain foods.
