Veterans Day Thanks

I wanted to take a moment and thank all my fellow veterans for their service. Some have suffered much more than me, some maybe less. Some served willingly, others didn't. Some came out better men/women than when they went in, others will never recover.
We all share one thing, however... We all served.
For your sacrifice, whether big, small, willing or unwilling, I am grateful!

My grandfather served in the RCAF during World War II. Although he came home safely, many of his good friends did not. He passed away in 2009 after a long life with a large family. I will be remembering him today, and all the others who have sacrificed their time, health, and lives to keep us safe and free. Thank you all.0

What a wonderful post! My dad served in the army in New Guinea during WW II. My mom's brother was killed in Iwo Jima. I respect and honor all the men and women who have given of themselves for The United States of America.
God Bless0 -
