Yesterday I went WAY over my calorie budget for the first time in a month. It was a fun night with friends so I tried to not beat myself up too bad for it, but I did regret it this morning when I thought about how it might impact my weight loss, which has been going so well.
Then at the gym today I had a thought which although silly, made me feel a little better. My body doesn't know I count calories from midnight to midnight. So if I had counted calories from 3 pm yesterday until 3 pm today, I would have stayed within the plan, because I haven't eaten too much today! It's just a little way of telling myself not to take this so seriously, that little setbacks will happen occasionally but I can't let this stop my progress.
Have a great Sunday!

I went over my calorie's last night too. But, I had a great night with family.
The way I look at it...I used to eat like that all the time. It has been a long time since I ate like I did last night (fried chicken wings...pizza...brownies...etc...). Once in a while isn't going to kill me since I don't do it all the time anymore.
However, my body wasn't too thrilled. I guess it doesn't like me eating like that anymore...haha0
