So strange to me....

I know this is talked about all of the time, but its so funny how I can CLEARLY see a difference in my body. My stomach area is smaller, my muffin top is fading (thank goodness), my clothes are starting to hang on me and my legs are slimming down BUT ....there is no change in the scale!!!!!
I only weigh myself every 2 weeks, so I don't obsess over it, BUT..it would be nice to see the numbers drop just a little. I know the way you feel and look is more important than the numbers on the scale but its amazing how not seeing the numbers go down can make you kinda depressed.

It sounds like you're working out as well as eating healthier and if that's the case you're balanced in your approach exchanging fat weight for muscle weight and toning your body. If you are eating to your work out calories try dropping back to the basic calorie allocation and not eating to the higher numbers to see how that will impact your effort.
Hang in there eventually it will come together for you. Bob0 -
Yes!! I TOTALLY agree with Bob!! )
You are doing so good!! Keep it up!0 -
Sometimes the pounds will drop a couple at a time, when the body adjusts.
Plus - you have only a few pounds to go! I wouldn't worry about it, and enjoy those slim feelings!

 keep the faith. I am too having the same issue. A friend of mine said to me last week... think of yourself as bamboo. You can place it in water, in the sun and really take care of it, after time you are about to give up and all of sudden it will shoot up about 3 ft. I think for some of us, we eat the right things, we excerise, drink our water but we get discouraged and fall into old sabatoge thinking just as our bodies are about to make the turn. Go with the feeling better and cloths fitting over the scale, it is hard but who cares what the scale says if your loved one notices, if those skinny jeans finally fit or we live another 10 years because we are not filling our bodies with processed junk food.0

Since I am a lady, I cannot say out loud what I think the scale is.
I've gone to measurements only to monitor my progress. (You do have a tape measure, right?) Those scale numbers can kill you emotionally, and they really are meaningless in the grand scheme of health.
Here's my favorite example: I have a friend who is (depending on the time she weighs herself) 15-20 pounds lighter than me. The last time we went shopping, we tried on the same dress. I wore two sizes smaller than her. So, there you go.
If you're smaller, that's progress. :flowerforyou:0 -

 a big dumb doo doo head!
I agree with everyone else. Don't worry about that scale. I've been on a three week plateau, too, but I know when the scale goes down it will go down alot!0 -
The Scale as well as tags on clothing are only numbers Nikii.
If you can visibly see a difference and it's an improvement, do you really care what the scale says?
Keep in mind....NOTHING tastes as good as Skinny FEELS!0
