Looking for friends to help motivate me!!

Hi! I have been on MFP since July 2011.

For the past month or so, I am having a hard time logging in my meals and working out as much as I had before. I had lost 33 pounds which is a lot for a short person! (5'2"). However, I am still exercising but having a hard time doing my Jillian DVD's and just have been doing fast walking and occasional running.

Because of my lack of motivation, I am too scared to step on my scale at home! (haven't since mid-August!) Although at my dr. appt. last week, the scale at the clinic showed my weight as a gain of 7 pounds which isn't horrible but still... I get frustrated with myself as do not want to keep up being lazy and gain any more weight.

So... I am looking for friends who will help me stay on track! If you want to support me, please send me a message! I prefer to have friends that do not have tons of "friends" as I find that they have so many that they don't pay attention to others. I don't like it when I give positive comments but never receive any in return. So hope you all understand where I am coming from! I will gladly support you too:smile: .

feel free to add me. I'm pretty good about weeding out the non actives on my friends list. I am with a group though that does challenges and stuff..and we are kicking some major weight loss butt so....I do tend to concentrate on the activity level there more. Feel free to add me and join the group if you'd like .

In order to get motivated 'you' have to put the hard work in yourself. You have to really want this for it to work. I use photos as motivation tools and have put them up everywhere around my home, I find they work for me. I also threw out my scales as I was either too afraid to weigh myself incase of a gain or I weighed myself 10 times a day. I now get weighed at the gym or with my dietician and strangely enough I look forward to the weighin. To be honest 7lbs is not a huge amount of a gain so you should be happy with that, it could have been worse.

You say that you enjoy walking and running so I would stick to that and ditch the dvd's for now. I always say, do something that you enjoy.

Not being rude but I won't add you as a friend (as you kindly asked not to) as although I am not 'friend farming' I do support all of my friends (and do have quite a long list) on their journey and they also support me. I am quite thankful to have them in my life. I owe the 43 pounds that I have lost to all of my mates who are supporting me and vice versa.
