Best affordable, durable ear buds.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good but reasonable pair of ear buds? I have gone through about 4 pair because they always seem to short out near the plug in part. I am not rough on them they are just cheaply made I guess. I don't mind spending a little more but want them to be reliable. I did buy one pair but they were too heavy and kept falling out of my ears.

I used to buy dollar store ones and went through them like crazy. Then I got smart and bought a pair of sonys for 7.99. Best I've owned. Not too heavy either.
