I am thinking about buying the Fitbit Zip. If anyone has one, please let me know what you like and don't like about it. Thanks!

  • I just got one; just a fancy pedometer. I like it, but I stopped syncing with MFP because sometimes they would give negative calories and I wasn't having that. It was supposed to encourage me to do more, not get frustrated. I just keep my accounts separate. It does encourage me to walk to store and wander around more than sit on my butt, especially when it's pouring outside.

The idea of the negative adjustment is to tell you if your MFP Calirie allowance is too high so often people find it motivating to do more activity to get rid if the negative value. It's more accurate that way.
