Yesterday started L2 of 30Ds think I pulled a muscle in my neck/shoulder area. I'm sure I'm not alone on this. Any advise like cold or heat to help? Should I continue to work out? If so no weights for a while maybe? How long will it take to go away?I know everyone is different I'm just looking for ideas from people with the same injury. Thanks

Ice to reduce swelling, heat to relax the muscle. Give it ample time to recover (usually two to four weeks for mild to moderate strains, 6 weeks or more for tears and severe strains), no point in trying to use it to soon, and make sure you test the area before going full bore into an exercise, if 1/4 or 1/2 weight causes pain, you're probably not ready yet. Be aware though, stiffness and soreness isn't pain, so be very conscious of how the muscle feels.0
